The CLIC-GSA conference promotes interdisciplinary research and discussion in the analysis of naturally occurring human interaction. Papers will be presented by national and international scholars on a variety of topics at the intersection of language, interaction, and culture.
This year, our conference theme is “Beyond Words: Bridging Language, Culture, and Society”. This theme invites contributions related especially to multimodality, culture and identity, and diverse approaches to language and interaction.’
In addition to our plenary speakers, the conference will include oral presentations and poster sessions featuring student projects from graduate and undergraduate researchers representing domestic and international institutions. We are also excited to host a Mentorship Mixer on Friday May 17th, designed to foster connections between student attendees and assigned mentors at higher educational levels, including postdoctoral scholars and faculty. All registrants are invited to participate in this mixer.
